Packed into a robust yet functional stainless steel case that measures just 41mm in diameter, this men’s IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 unites legibility with a precise mechanical stopwatch feature. The classic chronograph is presented on a deep captivating blue dial with counters laid out in the 6, 9, 12 format. This IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 boasts the collection’s distinct instrument look with polished push pieces at 2 and 4 o’clock for effortless control over the start, stop and reset functions of the chronograph. The counter at 12 o’clock on the dial of this IWC Schaffhausen watch provides the 30 minute function balanced by a 12 hour totaliser at 12 o’clock and a small seconds dial at 9 o’clock. Across the east side of the dial is a legible day and date features dressed against a white background. The same scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass used for the back of the case is also used on the watch’s front side, granting a clear view into the dial and its luminous coated hour indexes and hands.
The sapphire exhibition caseback affords a clear view of the effortlessly performing in house self winding IWC Calibre 69385, which provides a useful 46 hour power reserve once fully wound. It also comprises a total of 231 hand assembled components along with Cotes de Geneve decoration that can be viewed when the watch is turned over. This IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 comes complete on one of the manufacturer’s fine blue calfskin leather straps with an integrated EasX CHANGE system.
